Outstanding Teenagers from 13 Countries Attended ORT Braude Seminar for Budding Scientists

In summer 2019, the ORT Braude campus hosted the World ORT International Seminar, in collaboration with the college’s Youth Center for Science Enrichment. The seminar was attended by 20 young people who were carefully chosen through a long selection process conducted by World ORT schools. They hailed from 13 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Spain, and of course Israel. During the engrossing three-week seminar, students participated in a well-rounded curriculum in which they experienced a variety of science and technology fields, worked alongside leading college researchers, and also learned a lot about Israeli culture.
