Aim:
In the current era of globalization, the role of higher education institutions (HEIs) as providers of global citizenship competencies is increasing. In this context, internationalization in HEIs contributes to the development of students’ skills and employability in the 21st century. IN2IT project is a three-year project (2015-2018) executed by 14 partners from Israel and Europe builds on strategic capabilities by developing and delivering operational competencies for internationalizations. IN2IT project aspires to exploit available information and communications technologies (ICT) to be used in the service of advancing internationalization and make it accessible to all global citizens, in the classroom and at home.
IN2IT International Conference on Internationalization and Technology in Higher Education will be focused on of students’ skills and employability in the 21st century supported by the development of virtual-international courses. IN2IT team has developed four cutting-edge courses: Embracing Diversity, Essential Skills, English for Internationalization Purposes, and Global Entrepreneurship. Students from five different countries in Europe and from Israel are working together in each one of those courses in order to be better prepared for employability in the current era of globalization.
