Our modern dormitories offer fully equipped kitchens, shared living spaces with Israeli students, and easy access to campus services. Affordable cafeteria options are available on weekdays.

The safety and security of the students is a top priority at Braude College. Upon arrival, students receive a comprehensive security orientation. Professional security staff are present on campus at all times, and all on- and off-campus activities comply with strict security guidelines.

Study Abroad students benefit from the support of a social coordinator. The coordinator is available to assist students throughout their stay, addressing their daily needs, facilitating social integration, and addressing any questions that may arise during the program.

Study Abroad students reside in on-campus dormitories and share living spaces with fellow students. Each dormitory unit includes a kitchen equipped with essential appliances. During weekdays, several dining options are available on campus, offering both vegetarian and meat-based meals. Campus dining services are closed on Saturdays.

Based on previous student experience, Study Abroad students who regularly prepare meals in the dormitories typically spend approximately USD 220–280 per month on food. This information is provided to assist students in planning their monthly budget.

Braude College provides modern learning facilities equipped with advanced technology. Study Abroad students have access to computerized libraries, up-to-date laboratories, computer labs, and widespread Wi-Fi coverage across campus.

Braude’s modern sports facilities include a gym equipped with aerobic and weight-training equipment, as well as tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Use of the sports facilities is provided at no additional cost.

All Study Abroad students must be covered by valid health insurance for the duration of their stay in Israel. Students may either:

• Provide proof of their own insurance coverage
• Participate in the health insurance plan offered by Braude College

Arrival in Israel
The primary international gateway to Israel is Ben-Gurion International Airport, located near Tel Aviv.

Public Transportation
Israel offers an extensive public transportation network, including buses and trains. Travel schedules and routes are available through official transportation portals. Study Abroad students may use the Rav-Kav prepaid travel card, which offers significant student discounts.
Alternatively, students may use the Moovit mobile application to plan routes and pay for transportation via QR code scanning.

Karmiel is a welcoming, student-friendly city in northern Israel, known for its safe environment, green surroundings, and high quality of life. The city offers convenient access to shops, cafés, and services, while its location in the Galilee allows easy travel to major cities, the Mediterranean coast, and natural attractions.
