Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Applicants with a Foreign High School Diploma

Applicants holding a recognized foreign high school diploma may be considered for admission subject to the following requirements:

Successful completion of the Pre-Engineering Mathematics Preparatory Program or an approved equivalent preparatory program (mechina), with grades meeting departmental admission requirements.
Applicants to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering programs must also complete a Physics Preparatory Program or an approved equivalent (mechina), with grades meeting departmental requirements.
Required English proficiency level, based on departmental admission requirements, demonstrated through the Psychometric Examination or Amiram/Amirnet examination before the beginning of studies.
Psychometric Examination score in accordance with the admission requirements of the relevant department.
- Applicants whose Psychometric Examination was not taken in Hebrew must submit one of the following:
  - Ulpan Level Gimel (Level C) completion certificate; or
  - A score of 100 or higher on the YAEL Hebrew Proficiency Examination.

For complete Hebrew language admission requirements, please refer to Braude College’s Hebrew proficiency regulations. NITE develops and administers proficiency and screening tests in various fields, as well as tools for assessing the special abilities required in specific professions or fields of study.

Applicants holding an Israeli Practical Engineer (Handesai) diploma from a recognized institution may be exempt from the YAEL requirement, subject to Braude College regulations.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

Official high school diploma
A copy of official high school diploma.
An official Hebrew translation of high school diploma and transcript, certified by a notary public or another authorized institution.
An official equivalency certificate issued by the Israeli Ministry of Education confirming that the diploma is equivalent to an Israeli matriculation certificate.

Recognition of Foreign Diplomas

To obtain diploma equivalency approval, applicants must contact:
