Research Proposal Submission Form

Guidelines for Submitting Research Proposals to External Funding Bodies

  1. Support and Updates: The College’s Research Authority assists faculty members in submitting research grant applications and ensures that faculty are continuously updated with any relevant information, including new Calls for Proposals (CFPs) and other pertinent announcements.
  2. Mandatory Approval: Research proposals by faculty members to external bodies must be submitted strictly through and with the prior approval of the Research Authority. Faculty members are requested to notify the Research Authority of their intention to submit a proposal by completing the attached internal form.
  3. Deadlines and Criteria: In all cases, research proposals must comply with the specific criteria and timelines set by the respective funding foundations. The Research Authority will review the proposal and provide its feedback/recommendations to the researcher.
  4. Budgetary Consultation: Faculty members are requested to consult with the College’s budget controller regarding the budgetary component of the proposal.
  5. Email Notification: Parallel to submitting the proposal, the researcher must report the submission via email to the Head of the Research Authority, Prof. Daniel Rittel and/or to  Ms. Regina August.
  6. Internal Timeline: Researchers are requested to submit their proposals to the Research Authority at least one week prior to the official external deadline. This is to ensure sufficient time to handle all administrative matters involved in the submission.
  7. Archiving: A final version of every research proposal will be retained and archived by the Research Authority.
  8. Ongoing Updates: The researcher is requested to keep the Research Authority updated on any development or notification received regarding their proposal.
