Title: Setting priorities for biodiversity research in natural history collections
Abstract: The research aims to develop innovative strategies for prioritizing taxonomic work on insect collections in natural history repositories. By analyzing over 20,000 parasitoid wasp specimens from diverse regions and habitats in Israel using machine learning and statistical methods, we will create a decision support tool to help biodiversity researchers efficiently allocate their efforts and enhance species documentation.
