Professional Activities

2009 – present

Testing Engineering team leader, Plasan Sasa: Responsibble for testing engineering, test planning, test reports, and testing instrumemtation.

2007 – present

Ort-Braude, Lecturer. System Engineering M.Sc program team member.

2002 – 2009

Project leader and systems engineer of unattended ground imager for surveillance, Seraphim:. Leading a complex project from the requirements stage and up to production and customer support

2001 – 2002

Project leader of fiber optic repeater for cellular communication, Celletra

1997 – 2001

Project Stabilization Manager, Rafael; involved in an extremely complex project (Lightening Pod) adapted to several aircrafts and produced in relatively large quantities; responsible for stabilizing the production line and increasing the MTBF (mean time between failures) of the lightening pod by a factor of 3

1992 – 1997

Various duties, Rafael; responsible for initiating new projects taking into consideration Rafael’s capabilities and customer needs; required to come up with several ideas (military and medical). Two of the ideas achieded financing for applicability evaluation experiment; One the ideas finnaly become a full scale development project and I served as the main system engineer.

1990 – 1992

On sabbatical – working with Infrared Fiber Systems; over the period of one year responsible for integration of infrared spectrometer based on AOTF crystal; over the same period also lead a project developing and transferring to production an ear thermometer

1977 – 1990
Various duties, Rafael: Started as Design Engineer, developing a coreless and brushless DC motor controlled by a microcomputer; thereafter worked as an Integration Engineer, leading an integration group integrating a complex system and transfer to production; then moved to the position of a Systems Engineer, developing of a large scale project from the reception of customer specification up to the stage of qualification tests; finally, worked as a Project Production Line Leader, responsible for transfer to production, improving testability, design of the production line and production of the first lot
