Miss. Ziva PatirISO Vice-President (technical management) – Israel
Has been re-appointed ISO Vice-President (technical management) for the 2006-2007 term. As such, she also fills the position of Chair of the Technical Management Board.
Since June 1996, she has been Director General of the Standards Institution of Israel (SII) which she joined in 1976 as Chief Standardization Officer and later held the position of Director of the Quality and Certification Division for 10 years.
She is currently a Member of the LAHAV and a Member of the Board of the University of Haifa. In addition, Mrs. Patir is the President of the Israeli chapter of the International Women’s Forum and the past President of the Israel Society for QUALITY.
מר שלמה ליכטנשטיין
שלמה ליכטנשטיין משמש כמנהל הפרס הלאומי לאיכות ע”ש יצחק רבין ז”ל, המופעל ע”י משרד רוה”מ, לשכת התאום של הארגונים הכלכליים, מת”י והאיגוד הישראלי לאיכות. כמו כן משמש כמרכז תכנית הדרכה וחונכות בנושא “מצוינות תפעולית בתעשיות בטחון, תעופה וחלל” (Aerospace Performance Improvement – API), המשותפת למכון התקנים הישראלי ול – European Aerospace Quality Group (EAQG).
בשנתיים האחרונות נבחר כחבר בהנהלת האיגוד הישראלי לאיכות (אי”א) וכיו”ר המגזר של תעשיות אירוספייס בו. בשנת 2006 שימש כיו”ר הכינוס הבינלאומי ה – 16 של אי”א, אשר הווה הצלחה הן מבחינה מקצועית והן מבחינת היקף ורמת המשתתפים בו.
עד לסוף שנת 2006, שימש כר’ מינהל ניהול האיכות במטה התעשייה האווירית לישראל בע”מ (תע”א), לאחר שמילא שורה ארוכה של תפקידי פיתוח וניהול במפעלי התע”א ברמת המפעל, החטיבה והחברה. פועל רבות לקידום האיכות בתעשיות אירוספייס בארץ ובעולם, וקבל על פעילותו זאת מגן הוקרה מטעם ארגון International Aerospace Quality Group היוקרתי (המאגד למעלה מ – 60 ארגוני אירוספייס מרכזיים בעולם). עודד התעדת מפעלים בארץ לתקן AS9100, ופעל לבניית התשתית המתאימה בארץ.
בעל תואר שני בהנדסת אלקטרוניקה ומערכות ממוחשבות מאוניברסיטת תל אביב ותעודה בניהול עסקי מהאוניברסיטה העברית.

Eitan Naveh – Senior Lecturer
Dr. Naveh joined the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management in 2001 as a Senior Lecturer. He has a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (1990), and MSc (1991) and DSc (1995) in Quality Assurance and Reliability, all from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He spent three years as post-doctoral fellow at the Center for the Development of Technological Leadership in the Institute of Technology and the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (1999-2001).
Dr. Naveh received a grant from the Decision, Risk, and Management Science Program of the USA National Science Foundation (NSF) to study the worldwide quality assurance ISO 9000 standard (1999-2001). He received a research fellowship from the Juran Center for Leadership in Quality at the University of Minnesota (1999).
Dr. Naveh has consulted to and worked with many major companies, including the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, IBM, ECI, Corning, ABB, Rafael, and Elbit.
Haim Shore
Haim Shore is a tenured professor in the Department for Industrial Engineering and Management at B-G University.
His research focuses on statistical modeling and quality and reliability engineering. He is the chair of a committee of the Israel Institution for Standardization, in charge of preparing national standards in quality and reliability engineering, and have authored (or co-authored) five books, a most recent of which is “Response Modeling Methodology – Empirical Modeling for Engineering and Science” published in 2005 by World Scientific of Singapore.

פרופ’ יורם רייך
סיים תואר ראשון (בהצטיינות יתירה) ושני (בהצטינות) בהנדסה מכנית באונ’ ת”א. בשנים 1980-1986 עבד בחיל הים: בתחילה כמהנדס מכונות ולאחר הקים ועמד בראש מדור מו”פ ותיב”מ. את לימודי הדוקטורט בשימושי בינה מלאכותית בהנדסה סיים ב- 1991 באוניברסיטת קרנגי מלון. במשך שנתיים עבד פרופ’ רייך במקביל כחוקר במכון למחקר הנדסי בקרנגי מלון וכחוקר באוניברסיטת דיוק. מ- 1993 הוא חבר סגל באונ’ ת”א.
פרופ’ רייך משמש כחבר מערכת של 6 ירחונים מדעיים וועדות כנסים בין-לאומיים רבים בנושאי מחשוב ותכן בהנדסה ואחראי על מסלול ההתמחות בתכן ותיב”ם בבית הספר להנדסה מכנית שבאוניברסיטת תל אביב.
פרופ’ רייך עוסק בתיאוריה ובמעשה של ניהול ידע הנדסי, כלים לפיתוח מוצרים איכותיים והנדסה משולבת. הוא חיבר למעלה מ- 160 מאמרים בנושאים אילו.

Dr. Shuki DrorHead, Department of Industial Engineering and Management,
ORT Braude College Dr. Shuki Dror, an expert on causality research and a consultant on the applications of quality. Dr. Dror received his
Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University. During his doctoral studies, he developed innovative methodology for causality research that enables individual organizations to investigate performance that will improve the implementation of given strategies. The unique methodology combines a structured qualitative approach, one that reveals the specific strategic framework of an individual organization, with quantitative methods.
In addition to his other research and teaching interests (strategy implementation, quality management, quality function deployment, and fuzzy set theory), since 1990 Dr. Dror has consulted to industry on the application of quality systems. He worked in the statistical consulting laboratory at the University of Haifa and most recently participated on a Network of Excellence Project funded by the European Community. Dr. Dror’s theories and findings have been published in the International Journal of Production Research and Quality Engineering and have been presented at international conferences on quality management.
